The Central Alborz Protected Area

The Central Alborz Protected Area, one of the most diverse habitats in Iran and a vital refuge for many of the country's large mammals such as deer, roe deer, leopards, brown bears, and others, features rich wildlife diversity. This region is also characterized by significant botanical diversity, encompassing approximately 1,100 plant species. For the first time in Iran, an environmental consultant was engaged concurrently with the geometric design studies to assess the proposed route variants and recommend the optimal variant with the least environmental impact. This initiative ensures that the project proceeds with a comprehensive understanding of its potential environmental effects and aims to minimize harm to this ecologically rich area.

Modern Finishes Brighten New Lobby

The redevelopment plan for the depot site in LOT 3 of the Tehran-Somal highway project has been prioritized. With a clear plan for the depot site's redevelopment, it can be transformed into a useful and environmentally friendly space after the completion of operations. This could include creating green spaces, constructing service and rest area complexes, or repurposing the land for other uses. Additionally, implementing the redevelopment plan will prevent soil and groundwater pollution in the long term. Overall, these actions demonstrate a commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the project. By continuing these efforts and implementing innovative methods, negative environmental effects can be minimized, achieving sustainable development.
